Info
We recommend that all migration specialists include a 30-day warranty.

What if something doesn't migrate right?

You should tell the client:
  1. As a precaution, after you do a restore, you keep a backup of their data and logs for 30 days.
  2. When you move data, all the data moves the same way all the time.
  3. If something isn't right, then it isn't right everywhere so it will be pretty easy to spot.
  4. Do not try to fix it themselves.  They might break your ability to fix it.
  5. They should contact you and you will fix it at no cost.

What if the client finds an issue after 30 days?

  1. After 30 days, you delete the backup and logs from your system.
  2. Once that happens, you can't make any tweaks to the migration.
  3. If it takes 30 days to find an issue, it is going to be very small minutia.
