Universal Migrator says "Cannot Find DLL" when attempting a data extraction

Sometimes features in Universal Migrator do not work and an error message indicates that a DLL cannot be found.

This often indicates that your antivirus software has malfunctioned.

The following workaround will resolve the problem:

  1. Completely exit Universal Migrator.
  2. Go to the following location on your computer: 
    1. %temp%\.net


  3. Completely delete any Universal Migrator folders.
  4. Relaunch Universal Migrator
