Primafact: Preparing Documents for Backup

Mapping Matters

Prior to backing up documents from Primafact, each yellow folder that represents a matter should be converted to an actual matter folder.

To do this, log into Primafact and find yellow folders that represent matters:

Right-Click on the folder and select Convert to Case:

This should be repeated for each yellow folder that represents a matter.

Attaching Archives

Primafact enables documents to be archived off-server into a remote storage location.  To view remote storage locations, run the following query:

  1. SELECT
  2. *
  3. FROM
  4. _ArchM

And you will see results like the following.

The TgtPath value indicates remote storage locations.  From your migration workstation, you should map network drives as necessary so that as many of these locations as possible reference valid locations.
