Installing Filezilla Pro

FileZilla Pro is a great tool for transferring files from one network to another.  It is especially useful because it can be used in environments where software installations are prohibited.

To accomplish this, do the following:

Single-User Install Instructions

  1. Run the FileZilla installer and click I Agree.


  2. Select Only For Me and then click Next.
  3. Click Next.
  4. Change the Destination Folder to a location that the user has write access to.
    For example, a folder inside of My Documents.
  5. Finish the install as normal.

You will now be able to run FileZilla Pro in a locked down environment.

Configuring FileZilla Pro for Best Use

Once FileZilla Pro is installed apply the settings below for an optimal configuration.
