Universal Migrator endlessly repeats "This agent has been running for: ..."

ISSUE:

When extracting data, Universal Migrator shows messages like the following repeated endlessly:


 

CAUSE:

This is usually caused by using a migration workstation that is low on resources.

To verify this is the case:

1.  Open Management Studio and launch the Activity Monitor:



Expand Processes and view the Wait Type:


If you see RESOURCE_SEMAPHORE Wait Types, this means that your migration workstation is low on resources.

RESOLUTION:

To resolve this issue you should increase the RAM in your migration workstation and remove and unnecessary applications.
