How to Convert a TriTek Database Using Full Convert Pro

To convert a TriTek database using Full Convert Pro, do the following steps:

  1. Download and Install Full Convert Pro from: https://www.fullconvert.com/

  2. Open Full Convert Pro and select "New database copy project".


  3. Click on the dropdown and select "DBF (dBase,FoxPro)" as your source database type. 


  4. Select the folder that contains your source DBF database and click "Next".


  5. Click on the dropdown and select "SQL Server" for your target database type.

  6. Enter "(local)" in the Server field.

  7. Enter the name of your firm in the Database field.

  8. In the Optional section, click the "Trust server certificate" checkbox. 


  9. Click "Next".

  10. "The database you specified does not exist. Would you like it created now?" Click Yes.


  11. Review your conversion configuration and click "Start Conversion"


  12. Database Conversion Complete!


  13. To view database in SQL, open SQL Server Management Studio and navigate to File > "Connect Object Explorer"


  14. Select (local) in the server name field and connect.


  15. Your database is now in SQL Server
