Extracting Documents from ndToolkit
NdToolkit is a tool from NetDocuments used by consultants, to data and documents from repositories/cabinets.
It can be used to extract the documents from the Cabinet.
To accomplish this, do the following:
Open ndToolkit
1. Select Search from the menu
bar.
With the correct cabinet selected.
2. Select "Find All (in Cabinet)
3. Select Ok
4. Select the Save All button. (3 files are auto generated in the Logs folder)
5. Select Tasks
6. Select Export…
7. Select Export Documents to Workspace Based Folders
8. Select Input File: and select the Documents CSV file from previous step
9. Select Continue
10. Select All Versions
11. Select Export Attachments
12. Select Browse For Folder
13. Select a drive location to hold documents.
14. Select Ok
15. Check the following and click Ok
16. Select 2 – Use Original NDDocId for the Name
17 Select Ok
18. Select Start Task
