Installing the Java SDK

Download the Java SDK

Go to the official Oracle Java downloads page: Java Downloads | Oracle

Select the latest Java SE Development Kit (JDK 25) version.
Navigate to the Windows tab
download the x64 Installer


Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts.
Click Next

Click Next

Close


Configure Environment Variables

Set JAVA_HOME

Open the Start Menu and search for Environment Variables
Click Open


In the System Properties window, click Environment Variables.

Under System variables, click New.

Enter the following:

  1.       Variable name: JAVA_HOME
  2.       Variable value: C:\Program Files\Java\jdk-<version>

Click OK to save.
